You can expect about 8 hours of playback from BluJax on a single charge. When BluJax battery is low, it will flash red. Please recharge.
For Pairing Multiple Devices (BluJax can store up to 4 paired smartphones in its memory)
a. To pair an additional device, disconnect the currently paired device by going into your smartphone's Bluetooth settings and clicking "Disconnect".
b. BluJax will only connect with one smartphone at a time.
c. If you have more than 4 devices, the oldest paired device will be erased when you pair with a new smartphone.
d. Follow Initial Pairing instruction.
In Case of Tight Quarters...
The 3.5mm jack on BluJax has been intentionally designed off-center so that it can be rotated to allow it to clear buttons or other obstructions located near your AUX input. If rotating BluJax is not allowing full insertion into the auxiliary input, we have provided a short extension cable which can be used to make the connection. Connect the extension cable between BluJax and the AUX input.
1. Charge
a. Charge your BluJax using the USB charging cable included.
b. When connected to a USB power source, BluJax will glow red while charging. When charging is complete, BluJax will glow blue.
2. Initial Pairing
a. After charging your BluJax, unplug it from the USB cable.
b. Turn on BluJax by pushing the control button once. It will now have a steady blue flash to indicate power is on and it is ready for pairing. c. Open the Bluetooth menu on your smartphone, and scan for available Bluetooth accessories.
d. Choose BluJax from the list, and select "Connect".
e. When a successful connection has been established,
BluJax will confirm by a single quick blue blink and then the light
will turn off. You are now connected to your BluJax!
3. Let's go! Connect!
a. Plug BluJax into the vehicle's AUX input.
b. Select the AUX input source on your radio to enjoy your music.
c. Use your phone to access your music.
4. Day to Day Operation
Using your BluJax for music control
a. Press control button once to Play/Pause your music.
b. Press control button twice skips to the next track.
c. Embrace your inner rock star!
Turning your BluJax on
Press the control button once on BluJax to wake it up. BluJax will confirm by blinking blue and then the light will turn off. Your phone is now connected.
Turning your BluJax off
To save battery life while not in use, press the control button
for 5 seconds to turn off BluJax. The red light will blink 3 times when off.
