      Description

      The Best in a Clutch. When you’re looking to keep your 1999-2004 Ford Mustang GT or Cobra in top shape, just remember to ACT. This ACT Sport/Race Sprung 6 Pad Clutch Kit – 10 Spline is designed to power up your vehicle’s shifting and response, keeping you moving deftly and swiftly on the street or on the track.

      Torque Improvements. This clutch provides you with a superior boost in torque over the normal stock gear. This clutch comes with a top cap of 647 lb/ft of torque, which is 40% higher than that of your average ‘Stang of the same model year and trim.

      Heavy-Duty Construction. This clutch kit is built from high-quality 4 stage heat treated steel. The contact area of the disc consists of 6 pads of specially formulated ceramic material, ensuring that maximum heat absorption is achieved to keep your vehicle running strong.

      Installation. This clutch kit is a very thorough process to put in. It should take about 4 hours to put in, minimum. Specific tools, of which a pilot bearing and alignment tool are included, will be required. You will also need a car lift and probably a jack stand.
