 Ratchet and extension
 Bolt or Side Cutters
 Slot Screw Driver
 Screw driver that can use the torx bit that is included

Installation Instructions:

1. Disconnect battery cables.

2. Loosen hose clamp on throttle body.

3. Disconnect the breather hose by pushing the green tab, and then pull out hose.

4. Disconnect Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring harness by sliding red tab back.

5. Remove bolt holding the factory air box to the fender using 10mm socket. (Save bolt will use in step 11)

6. Now pull out the entire intake

7. After pulling out air box remove grommets and put them back in their holes.

8. Using the torx bit, remove the 2 screws that hold in the mass air flow sensor. (Keep the sensor but NOT THE SCREWS)

9. With Bolt or Side cutters, remove the metal band that holds in the plastic breather tube. Remove tube and hold onto it for new CAI.

10. Install air filter adapter (the one with 3 holes in it) into the cool air dam, using 3 button head bolts (#5) and ¼ flat washers (#8).

11. With the bolt from step 5 and the supplied fender washer (#18), secure the Cool Air Dam to the fender while having the Aluminum Spacer under the Cool Air Dam.

12. Install the supplied ¼ bolt(#14), (2) ¼ washers (#9), and ¼ Nylock nut (#15) thru the Cool Air Dam and sheet metal and tighten. (I found it easiest too hold the Nylock nut with a pair of pliers, while tightening).

13. Install the supplied rubber grommet, into the intake tube. Than install the breather tube from step 9 into the grommet.

14. Install the Mass Air Flow Sensor into the intake tube. Use the supplied screws (#10) small screws with an Alan Wrench. DO NOT USE THE SCREWS THAT WERE FROM FACTORY WITH THIS CAI

15. Install the urethane hump hose on the filter adapter but first use a (#72) hose clam on each side (you may need to loosen them with a slot screw driver). Now install the reducing coupler with the (#48) hose clamp onto the throttle body. Also put a (#52) hose clamp on the outer side of the reducing coupler. (Leave the hose clamps loose).

16. Install the intake tube into the hump hose first and then into the reducing coupler. Tighten hose clamps.

17. Reconnect Breather Hose and Mass Air Flow Sensor

18. Double check everything make sure all screws and bolts are tightened.

19. Reconnect Battery
