Installation Instructions: Step 1: Disconnect negative battery cable. This is important, since this will then force the engine computer to relearn the airflow faster.

Step 2: Disconnect the breather line and brake breather lines (if automatic). The crankcase connector slides to the left to release latch.

Step 3: Loosen the silver hose clamps on the stock intake tubing and remove. The clamps slip back to release after loosening with the 5/16” socket.

Step 4: Assemble the Airaid Tube by inserting the black gasket first, then the silver breather fitting. If automatic, you will screw in the barbed fitting. If manual, then use the plug. Crescent wrench needed to snug down. Be careful, it’s plastic, does not need a lot of force. Also note: be careful making sure the gasket is seated snug and then inserting the silver fitting. It is tight but will go in. Make sure gasket stayed in place. Attach Airaid sticker to the oval area.

Step 5: The hump hose goes on the passenger side of the tube. Loosely put the clamps on. The large #52 goes toward tube, smaller #48 toward throttle body. The clamps are easiest to fully open, and the place around the tube open, then refeed into screw clasp.

Step 6: The reducer adapter goes on the driver side of the new tube assembly. Repeat with the other two clamps. Do not tighten everything down till fully installed.

Step 7: Unlatch the factory air filter intake lid and remove from the intake/filter assembly. Now is the time to at least make sure you at least have a fresh air filter installed or replace with a K&N or similar for even better performance.

Step 8: Slide the Airaid tube assembly on to the throttle body. It’s a tight snug fit, easier if you open the smaller metal band and install it after slipping the assembly on the throttle body.

Step 9: Slide the air box intake on the right side. Re-latch the air box lid onto the filter box.

Step 10: Check alignment of hose Module to make sure it clears the hood and other hoses/wires. Then tighten the clamps down. And reattach breather hoses. Keep in mind, the large breather hose clasp locks by sliding to the right (driver sid

Step 11: Double check that all hoses are reconnected, and clearances are good. Then reattach negative battery cable.

Optional 12: Down load new tune to car (if using programmer). This doesn’t require a retune, but it never hurts! Get the most horses out of your Pony!
