Overview: All Airaid Synthaflow filters are reusable and serviceable. Depending on your geographic location you may find that your filter will become extremely dirty very fast with dust, dirt, sand, and even road salts. For optimal performance it is highly recommended to have two filters. Cleaning and recharging a filter can take up to 12-24 hours before completely dry. After which you may proceed to re-oiling the filter and placing back in the vehicle.
Installation Instructions:
1.) Open hood and proceed to locate air filter assembly.
2.) Loosen band clamp using a slotted screw driver.
3.) Remove worn or dirty filter from vehicle.
4.) Clean air dam shield with a damp wet paper towel removing any road grime, dirt, sand, or salts.
5.) Remove protective plastic wrapping from new filter. Check to ensure no foreign objects are inside the new replacement assembly.
6.) Proceed to install new Airaid replacement filter to adapter and tighten band clamp securely.
7.) Remove all tools and close hood.
Notes: Restore dirty filter assembly using only Airaid Filter Recharger Kit. Once completely cleaned and re-oiled store second filter in a plastic bag to avoid oil evaporation and dry out. Place back in box and store for next air filter service change.
