Tool List:

• 10 mm Socket
• Socket wrench
• 13 mm Socket
• 8 mm Socket or Flathead Driver
• Pliers for hose clamps
• Soapy Water

Intake Install:

1. Firstly begin to remove the strut bar off each strut tower so that the plenum cover can be removed as well. Use the 13mm socket on the strut bar bolts and the plenum just pulls off by hand.

2. After you have the plenum cover removed you can now take off the entire stock air box and intake. Start by loosening the clamp on the intake tube that’s attached to the throttle body. Then remove the bolt in the air box with the 10 mm socket. Once both are off disconnect the mass air sensor and the other 2 hoses attached with clamps and remove stock air box

3. Once you have taken the stock airbox intake system off, assembly of the Airaid intake is next. Start by securing the new heat shield into the car in place of the old airbox. Use the 10 mm socket on this again to put bolt back into the same hole.

4. After you secure the heat shield, find the grommet with the 3 lock nut holes in it. Attach that grommet into the heat shield with the screws facing away from the vehicle. After that take the intake tube and fill the holes in it with the stock mass air sensor, the black rubber plug and the metal hose fitting.

5. Once all pieces are attached to the intake tube, attach the tappered rubber grommet to the front of the tube with the medium sized hose clamp. Then attach the last grommet with the bubble in the middle to the end of the tube with a large clamp. After that secure the tappered grommet to the throttle body with a small clamp. (soapy water helps get hose and grommets together)

6. After securing the tube to the throttle body, attach the end of the tube with the big grommet to the other grommet that we secured to the heat shield using another large clamp. After that attach the air filter inside the heat shield with the last biggest clamp.

7. Once all tubes and clamps and grommets are in the correct place. Proceed to use the 8mm socket or flathead to tighten all of the clamps so that nothing with come loose from the pressure. Reattach the mass air sensor, vac line and sound tube to the new intake tube using the pliers and soapy water.

8. Put the plenum back into the engine and reattach the strut tower brace. Double check that everything is tight. And enjoy the power and sound you get from your new Airaid Cold Air Intake!
