Description

This high-quality hood features classic muscle car styling that immediately enhances the overall look of your Pony with a 4 inch raised center cowl that hearkens back to old school, raw muscle car days and a mesh screen that is removable and paintable for added customization. The extra space from the raised cowl also provides added engine clearance for mods, keeps debris out from under your Pony's hood, and improves its airflow for a powerful drive at all times.
Ideal Build. A direct OE replacement, this hood is constructed with a carbon fiber skeleton that is bonded to the underside of the carbon fiber hood for a lightweight, yet powerful build. Although a heat shield and hood pins are required for safety reasons, this hood is still hardcore in its own right, boosting your Pony's form and function. Finished with a high-gloss coat that ensures your Pony turns heads wherever you go, this hood is guaranteed to please both now and down the road.
Installation. Using your Mustang's OE hardware, this hood can be mounted by those with moderate mechanical skills in just 1 hour. Re-installing gas shocks/dampers/struts isn't recommended, but modifications may be necessary for correct fitment of the OE windshield washer spray nozzle system.
