This premium hood is carefully crafted from high-quality fiberglass in a 1-piece design that is both ultra-lightweight and super strong. It has been carefully balanced to achieve a ratio that is strong enough to handle just about any application.
Hood Features. This version comes unpainted with a smooth black gel coat finish, which makes it very easy to prep and paint it any color you would like. This fiberglass hood also features a center heat extractor vent, which helps to pull unwanted heat out of your engine bay for a cooler and more efficient engine. So, not only will this hood add some aesthetic appeal to your Mustang, but also some practicality.
Straightforward Installation. Since it is a direct OE factory hood replacement, you can easily mount this hood right in the comfort of your own garage in just an hour's time. You can simply re-use your factory hardware and mounting locations for a seamless and straightforward install.
Application. The Anderson Composites Type-GR GT350 Style Hood - Unpainted will fit on all 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT, EcoBoost and V6 models.
Technical Notes. Anderson Composites DOES NOT recommend using aftermarket hood struts with this hood, unless they're specifically designed for lighter weight aftermarket fiberglass and carbon fiber hoods. Modifications may be necessary for the correct fitment of the factory windshield washer spray nozzles as part of the normal installation process.
