Improves Aerodynamic Performance with Lightweight Manufacture. Already race-ready with relatively firm suspensions and powerful engine choices, your sixth-gen Mustang will do great with the replacement of its stock hood with the unpainted Anderson Composites Type-SN SuperSnake Style Hood.
Includes Hood Scoop with Vents for Cooling Engine Compartment. The hood has a scoop that includes 2 small vents; the entire structure allows air to pass through the engine compartment. As a result, you will be able to maintain a temperature suitable enough for proper engine function.
Elevates Aesthetic Value of Vehicle. Sleekly designed, this hood is more than just being functional. It also enhances the exterior profile of your Mustang.
Medium-Level Installation. You might need to make some modifications on this hood for correct fitment of the Mustang’s windshield washer spray nozzles and fluid lines during the installation process. With a basic hand tool set, you can have it installed within an hour or more.
Application. The Anderson Composites Type-SN SuperSnake Style Hood - Unpainted fits all 2015–2017 Ford Mustang GT, EcoBoost, and V6 models. Shipped unpainted, it is sold individually; using a heat shield underneath it is strongly recommended.
