How to Install Auto Meter Dash Top Gauge Pod - Triple 2-1/16 in. (05-09 All) on your Ford Mustang

1. Clean contact area on dash and bottom of metal stud plate with alcohol.

2. Bolt the metal stud plate to the pod (Figure 1)

3. Attach the double sided tape to the bottom bracket (Figure 1). DO NOT REMOVE TAPE LINER FROM DASH SIDE YET.

4. Place the pod on the dash so the back edge of the pod aligns with the first row of square vent holes. (Figure 2)

5. Flex the back of the pod so the two tabs (located on the back left and right edges) snap into the square vent openings. (Figure 2)

6. With the pod in the correct location, lift the front of the pod and remove the tape liner and carefully place the front of the pod back on the dash in its final location, Press down to engage tape.

7. Remove nuts from metal stud plate and remove pod from dash (leaving bracket attached to dash). Press firnly on bracket to assure good contact with dash.

8. Wire Gauges: NOTE (Wires can run through the rear vent holes in the back)

9. Tighten bracket bolts by going through the left and right gauge openings. Press gauges in after tightening bolts. Gauges are press fit.
