36% Shorter Throw. The Barton 5-Speed Short Shifter reduces shifting travel by 36% to provide quicker, more positive shifts, all while preserving the factory shifter ergonomics for a comfortable ride.

Superior Construction. Made in the USA from 6061 T6 billet aluminum and 304 stainless steel, for solid construction, this short throw shifter includes higher durometer (harder) bushings that are firmer and much more durable over the standard stock rubber bushings.

Complete Kit. The Barton Industries Shifter Kit comes complete and includes the Shifter, a Barton flat stick, an OEM style stick, and a white 5-speed shift ball. The included shift handles and shift knob have a 12mm x 1.25 thread pattern, the same as stock.

Application. This Barton Industries shifter is specifically designed for use on the 2005-2010 GT and Bullitt Mustangs equipped with the TR-3650 manual 5 speed transmission.

Technical Note. Use of the Barton flat stick on a 2010 GT will require cutting the factory shift boot, or the use of a Roush shift boot P/N 420033 (sold separately) for a direct fit. No cutting or modifications are required for installation on a 2005-2009 GT.
