How to install a Bassani Axle-Back Exhaust on your 2011-2012 Mustang

Installation instructions:

1. ) Raise and support vehicle. 

2. ) Remove mufflers from vehicle at the connection behind the differential. The  factory ball and socket clamps are to be re-used in this installation. The spot welded tab that holds the clamp in place will have to be broken to remove the clamp. Be careful not to damage the clamp. 

3. ) Slide the clamps over the inlet adaptor of the Bassani muffler and fit mufflers to  stock hangers with a little WD-40 to assist sliding in the rubber. 

4. ) Fit clamps in place and snug fit. Align tips within cut-out in rear lower valance. |  Left and Right adjustments can be made by rolling muffler at the ball and socket connection. In and Out adjustments can be made by loosening slip connectors behind the factory crossover pipe. 

5. ) Once Alignment is done tighten all clamps.
