Step 1: Place all four corners of the vehicle on jack stands or use a drive on lift.

Step 2: Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Step 3 & Step 5: Remove the oxygen sensors using a 22mm wrench. Then take off the header flange nuts at the collector and disconnect the air tube from the H-Pipe. (In some instances cutting 1-2 inches in front of the factory clamp for the air pump tube on the H-Pipe may be necessary).

Step 4: Disconnect the mufflers from the mid-pipe. Lubricate the H-Pipe hangers with WD-40 or equivalent and slide back to remove.

For installation simply reverse the previous steps, making sure to reconnect the air tube to the connector tube located on the new mid-pipe (Used supplied hose and clamps if cutting was required).

NOTE!!! Be sure to add a small amount of anti-seize to the top thread of each oxygen sensor using the supplied anti-seize packet. As you thread the oxygen sensor back into the part the anti-seize will spread evenly throughout the threads.

NOTE!!! Do not plug off the air line from the air pump. Air pump damage and premature catalytic converter damage will occur.

Step 6: Using the supplied muffler style clamp, install over the mid-pipe crossover tube and tighten to avoid any leaks. This part can also be welded to avoid any exhaust leaks

*1994 and newer models are equipped with bolt on hanger system rather than steel slide style used on the 1986-93 models. To remove simply unbolt the H-Pipe from the hanger mount.
