I installed this on my '99 GT. Even though I have a replacement on the way from BBK (some rattling in a cat), I decided to see how far off it would be in failing emissions in Douglas County, CO. I was shocked when it passed! Readings (Actual/Limit): HC: .37 / .80 CO: 4.4 / 15.0 CO2: 451 / NA NOx: .81 / 1.5 Smoke: PASS

Easy installation

Came fast and only took around 3 hours to install. I’m not that mechanically inclined but it was an easy install.

Broke after 3 months but AM did right by product.

Paired up with SLP catback, sounds great, not too over the top (always had o/r mids before) with a nice aggressive tone but no fumes, which is what I expected. After running it for 4 months though, one of the high flow cats broke inside the x pipe which was annoying as had to replace the whole x pipe (another couple hundred to exhaust shop for the swap) but AM took care of the warranty and gave me a prepaid label for shipping the broken x pipe back so kudos to them. Trustingly, the second one lasts for years and not months.

Fast shipping i received within 3 days, my car already had a BBK off-road x-pipe on it so the install was easy and toned down the sound of the exhaust but not too much.

It’s Awesome it’s everything they say in the description. Very good sounding with the Flowmaster 40s gives it a deeper growl also makes the car run so much smoother im loving it

No where near direct fitment

First off the quality of this product is poor. O2 thread holes are splattered with slag. Will need to re-tap these holes. The flanges didn't mate well with the Flowmaster exhaust I have.... great. Adjusted and moved everything to fit ok still not great. None of the stock 02 sensors worked due to the horrible location of the bungs. Will need new sensors or extensions for them to work. Was expecting decent shiny stainless out of the box and what i recieved was something that looked almost used. Dull looking with burned welding gas over everything. Weld splatter in 02 holes, and not wide enough offset to clear the driveshaft. Now my car needs u joints, trans rear seal, muffler delete or new cat back. Definitely do not buy unless you can bend or custom fabricate cat back and have all available parts needed incase of poor direct fitment.

Mechanic called me while my car was on the lift to inform me that the sleeve clamps were not in the kit. I called AM and was told that they would send them out next day air. I informed AM rep that the car is apart on the mechanics lift, and we need it now. AM rep said no problem. Source locally and submit for reimbursement. If you have a 2003/04 Cobra. Get the 02 sensor extensions first, 18 inches or 24 inches. Then turn your Cobra into a BURBLING, POPPING monster. I have the Borla Atak. I WILL NEVER LISTEN TO MY RADIO AGAIN. ??????????
