How to Install BMR Billet Aluminum Watts Link Pivot Upgrade - Black on your Mustang
Tools Required
- (2) ¾” Wrenches
- (2) 9/16” Wrenches
- (2) 15/16” Wrenches
- Hydraulic jack and Jack stands

Installation:
1. Chock the front tires then lift the vehicle and support with jack stands under the rear end.
2. Using (2) 9/16” wrenches, remove the (2) outer bolts on the Watts link support brackets. (IMAGE 1)
3. Using (2) ¾” wrenches, remove the center pivot bolt on the Watts link pivot then lower the assembly. (IMAGE 1)
4. Using (2) 15/16” wrenches, remove the (2) inner 5/8” bolts on the Watts linkages as shown in IMAGE 2.
5. Transfer the pivot support, hardware, and shims to the new WL007 pivot as shown in IMAGE 3. Do not use the existing 5/8” bolts and nuts.
6. Connect the Watts linkages to the new pivot using the new provided 5/8” x 2” bolts, washers, and lock washers. IMAGE 4
7. Raise the assembly up and bolt it to the desired hole location.
8. Grease the fitting in the new WL007 Watts link pivot.
9. Make sure all hardware is tight then lower the vehicle.
