How to Install BMR Rear Upper Control Arm Camber Links w/ Delrin Bearings - Black on your Mustang

Tools Required
  • Hydraulic jack and stands
  • 15mm wrench
  • 18mm wrench

INSTALLATION:

1. Lift the rear of the vehicle and place jack stands under the  sub-frame. IMAGE 1  

2. Remove both rear/tires.  

3. Starting with the outer, remove the bolt/nut using a  15mm and 18mm wrench. (IMAGE 1)  

4. Using the same wrenches, remove the inner bolt/nut.  

5. Remove the factory upper control arm.  

6. Match the correct BMR arm using the image below for  reference. NOTE: the relief on the arm is designed for CV  shaft clearance, install the arms with the relief facing the  CV shafts.  

7. Install the BMR arms with the OE hardware and torque  the inner fasteners to 85 ft/lbs. and the outer fasteners  to 76 ft/lbs.  

NOTE: The inner bolt on the upper control arm is also the camber adjustment for the vehicle. A 4-wheel alignment will be necessary after this installation.
