Two-Layer Acoustic Material for Superior Insulation. The Boom Mat Under Carpet Sound Deadening has 2 layers of acoustic material that provides not only sound deadening, but also superior insulation to keep your car cool in the summer, and warm in cold temperate climates. The top layer is made up of flexible loaded barrier material, and the bottom layer is of quality industrial acoustical marine-grade foam.
Noise and Vibration Control. The Boom Mat Under Carpet Sound Deadening’s 2-layer insulation eliminates squeaks, rattles, vibration, heat, and engine noise. This is quite beneficial especially on long drives, when noise and vibration add to the driver’s fatigue.
Mechanically Fastened or Tacked in Place. Installing the Boom Mat Under Carpet Sound Deadening requires removal of your Charger’s carpet flooring.
