      Description

The Boom Mat Under Carpet Sound Deadening Layer blocks 25 percent more exterior sound than competitor's products, whether you put it on a floorboard, trunk floor, firewall, or elsewhere. The two-layer mat also insulates the inside of your Mustang, helping keep it warm in cold weather and cool in the summer. Perhaps best of all, this gray mat is crafted to elevate your stereo sound and performance.

      Two Layers. Boom Mat crafts a flexible two-layer mat with 3/8 in. thickness for better noise control. The top layer features a mass-loaded 1lb/sq. ft. barrier, while the second layer is made of industrial acoustic marine grade foam.

      Adhesive Hold. This Under Carpet Sound Deadening Mat is easy to install in your chosen interior spot by fastening or tacking it there with Boom Mat Hi-Tem Spray Adhesive, sold separately. For best results, use it over Boom Mat Damping Material (not included).

      Application. The Boom Mat Under Carpet Sound Deadening Layer is designed for the interior of all 1979-2025 Ford Mustangs. Please select your preferred size at time of order: 24 x 54 inch (9 sq. ft.) or 48 x 54 inch (18 sq. ft.)
