Borla answers this problem by building their ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust System from 100% aircraft-quality T-304 stainless steel. The high chromium content of this steel makes it resistant to corrosion, which means a longer life span for your 2013-2014 exhaust system.

ATAK Mufflers. Borla's loudest muffler system is geared toward those individuals who love to listen to their exhaust while cruising the streets. ATAK, which stands for Acoustically Tuned Applied Kinetics, is Borla's technology that produces the highest available dB (decibel) levels to pump up the volume while retaining clarity of sound. The engineers at Borla found the perfect way to deliver super aggressive sound without any interior drone.

Street or Off-Road Use. The X-Pipe included in this Borla ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust will bolt up directly behind the stock catalytic converters, making your 2013-2014 5.0L Mustang 100% smog-legal. It can alternately be installed with Borla's XR-1 Long Tube Headers if you choose to delete the stock cats, providing even more power for the perfect off-road combination.

Crafted from smooth 2.75" mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing, the Borla ATAK System includes an X-pipe and features two race inspired ATAK Mufflers with rolled 4.5" black chrome angle cut tips. Manufactured to withstand the corrosion that likely ruined your last exhaust system, you'll also be able to admire the Borla Logo that has been carefully embossed on each tip.

Application. This Borla ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust System with X-pipe and Black Chrome Tips has a versatile design that allows installation on 2013-2014 GT and BOSS 302 Mustangs equipped with either the stock manifolds or aftermarket shorty headers installed. It can also be installed on 2013-2014 GT and BOSS 302 Mustangs with a set of Borla's XR-1 Long Tube Headers by deleting the catalytic converters.

Installation Note. When installing this X-pipe and Cat-Back Kit on a BOSS 302 Mustang, you will lose the functionality of the factory Side Exhaust Pipes.

Technical Notes. By removing the catalytic converters, this exhaust is no longer legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles and will be intended for off road use only.
