Removal of Stock Exhaust
1. Make sure car has not been running for at least an hour and check to make sure the stock exhaust is not too hot to begin. Also, make sure you are on level ground.
2. Place wheel chocks in front of front wheels snug against the tires.

3. Jack up the car on each side in the correct Jack position as noted in the picture.

4. Place jack stands under correct jack positions as noted in the above picture.
5. If using spray lubricant, spray the hangers and rubber isolators and allow time for the lubricant to penetrate.
6. Using your ratchet and ½” or #13 socket, loosen the bolt at the clamp position as noted in the picture.

7. Remove the stock exhaust from your Mustang. (using pliers will allow you to get more leverage on the rubber isolators, but it is possible to remove the exhaust without using them)
8. Repeat steps 5-7 on the opposite side exhaust
9. Once both stock exhausts have been removed, remove the clamps on each exhaust that are attached by using either a set of pliers or using your hand to bend the clamp back and forth until it detaches. You will reuse these clamps on the Borla exhaust.

Installation of Borla Exhaust
1. Begin on either side by inserting the flared end into the ball clamp.
2. Now insert the hangers into the rubber isolators.

3. Make sure clearance height is ok and also that everything is lined up.

4. Once position of the exhaust is determined to be correct, tighten down the clamp.
5. Repeat these steps for the other side from which you started.
6. Jack up the car slightly higher than what the jack stands are set at and remove the jack stands.
7. Slowly lower the car to the ground using the jack.
8. Start your Mustang and enjoy that growl!
