Double din fitment
Nice replacement but it DOES NOT accept traditional double din as well as the car the dash is made for new shallow fit units

Stopped working randomly
When i first got the kit it worked awesomely. Easy to install, fit the stereo i bought, and looked great. Then after about a week the A/C controls AND the stereo wouldn’t turn on. I thought maybe it was the stereo so i had switched it out and it was working again. After another week had passed roughly, the same thing started happening. The kit still looks great, was great while it worked, but now it’s just been a headache.

Solid upgrade to the default screen and controls.
I combined this with the Pioneer NEX 4400 back in 2018 to upgrade my mustang to have wireless Apple Carplay. I absolutely love this interface that maintains a sleek yet useful display, along with physical buttons that are also discrete enough to blend seamlessly in with the dash until you need them.

My car is supercharged with a tune and it worked ok but the kit installed ran my battery down and I’m car would start without the car . I had to take it out .

Mustang Car Stereo Installation
it's a great product. They only issues i had was that there were not good instructions with referencing the connections on exactly where they connect to. you have to know how be very knowledgeable on car stereo installation. lucky for me, i have a few years under my belt and i still had issues with the connections. The support staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this product!

Easy instructions
I was concerned about buying the stereo and trim paneling with HVAC controls from different manufacturers, but I was able to use the directions for the Metro trim and included harnes to complete the entire install, Thankfully!! The directions for the stereo would have been much more difficult. realistically about a 4 hour job, but I had problems with the backup camera failing to display. Troubleshot that for another 12 hours…figuring out it was a bad power wire. I ended up buying a cheap $20 camera from Walmart just to use the wires. Easier and quicker than uninstalling the entire stereo and starting over.
