This cold air intake combines a specially designed air intake tube with a high flow air filter to deliver loads of cold air into your engine. This increase in cold air ensures total fuel combustion to give you practical improvements in horsepower and torque. If you want to take your driving to the next level, this cold air intake assembly is for you.
ECU Re-Tuning Not Necessary. This cold air intake does not need a re-tune to your ECU to feel its performance improvements. However, re-tuning your ECU in the future is always a good thing as a re-tune will optimize the performance of this intake with your engine.
High Flow Oiled Air Filter. This cold air intake is equipped with an oiled air filter that’s less restrictive than stock but doesn’t compromise filtration. This is accomplished by an interwoven cotton filter media with a pleat count designed for maximum air flow. Furthermore, this air filter is easy to clean and re-oil with an appropriate filter maintenance kit.
Rugged Build Quality. This cold air intake features an air intake tube crafted from high-grade aluminum alloy for strength, corrosion resistance, and reduced weight. The aluminum is then machine-formed to include a MAF sensor housing for efficient sensor relocation. Similarly, its fully insulated air box is made from quality aluminum and comes with a clear sight window for convenient filter monitoring. Finally, this assembly is finished in a wear-resistant textured black powder coating for impressive style and superior corrosion protection.
Easy Installation. Installing this cold air intake is a fairly easy procedure as this utilizes factory locations as its mounting areas. No extra drilling or other modifications are needed. Moreover, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete.
