More importantly, this EFI intake manifold’s specialized design will give you outstanding performance gains, enabling you to get a leg up on the competition come race day.
Maximum Air Flow for Maximum Power. This hi-ram style intake manifold gets its outstanding performance from a novel tapered runner design. This design optimizes its intake charge velocity and distributes airflow more evenly into your ride’s cylinders. The result is outstanding fuel combustion for maximum horsepower and torque gains.
ECU Re-Tuning Recommended. This hi-ram style intake manifold’s runner design essentially changes your engine’s airflow characteristics which could in turn trigger a check engine light. In this case, it is recommended that you have your ECU re-tuned after its installation. Still, the benefits of re-tuning your ECU can’t be understated as this will definitely optimize your engine’s performance.
Solid Build Quality. This EFI intake manifold is CNC machined from high-grade T6061 aluminum billet, making it extremely strong. Additionally, this intake manifold features TIG welded joins, ensuring consistent performance for years. Likewise, its mounting flanges are machined from 7/16-inch thick T6061 aluminum to provide a leak-free seal when installed. Rounding out its construction is a black anodized finish to give the assembly a menacing high-performance style.
Direct Install Procedure. This hi-ram style intake manifold is designed to directly replace your Mustang’s factory intake manifold. No modifications to your engine and engine bay are necessary. Also, installation is completed using just standard hand tools and all necessary installation hardware is included for convenience.
May Require a Modified Hood for Proper Fitment. Depending on the application, installing this hi-ram style intake manifold may require a modified hood. This is to allow proper fitment of the intake in your vehicle.
