How to Install Canton Deep Rear Sump Oil Pan For use w/o Main Support Girdle - Street (79-93 5.0L) on your Ford Mustang

The unskirted design of the LS Next block has multiple oil pan sealing surfaces that intersect with each other. For leak free installation each surface and the transitions between them must be properly sealed.

Use gasket sealer on all surfaces, placing special attention to the corner transitions between gaskets. 

Use a Dart Rocket (Fel Pro 375-1839) oil pan gasket on the oil pan rail with gasket sealer. 

Use the factory gaskets with gasket sealer on the vertical edges of the pan against the timing cover and the rear cover. 

NOTE: This pan works with a stock LS starter. A mezeire starter can be used with a slight modification to the pan.
