Stronger bite than expected. Minor chatter from weights.

When I bought this I was looking for one of the stronger street clutches and this one reeled me in with it's patented ball bearing system that allows for a lighter clutch pedal. On the light pedal promise, this delivers. The pedal is now much lighter than it was with the stock clutch. Great for driving in rush hour traffic. Bite is also stronger than expected. IMO stronger than other aftermarket organic single disc clutches. Takes some getting used to, but is probably just what our MT-82 Mustangs need to resolve clutch/transmission issues. The biggest downside for my install is low RPM clutch chatter from the weights on the clutch. Not terrible, and less than a dual disc, but there is chatter. I talked to some experts who told me that with this clutch, some cars get chatter and some don't. Overall pretty happy. If it holds out for a long time, I'd probably buy one again. On the bite rating, I'm going to say that the stock clutch bite is a 1, an aftermarket organic single is a 2, this is a 3 and dual discs and metallic discs are higher. 4 on quality due to the chatter.

      New up graded clutch

Clutch is very smooth and has a good grip. 500-mile break in period. But for a upgrade over stock replacement time will tell. So far, I'm very happy with it, can't think of needing anything more a daily driver that you're not going to beat to death, but will knock the dust off the tires now and then.

Installed with a new clutch and flywheel

Quality seems good. Fit and finish were fine, no complaints as of yet. Only have about 20 miles on it so far however.

      better then the stock

easy to install but the arm that come with the new one did not fit in the stock clutch line so i had to remove the stock line off and put it on the new cylinder other then that it is great

      Second one lasted 15k miles

My first TOB from Centerforce was defective from the beginning which I didn't catch until 1500 miles later, but the until wouldn't fully release - you'd be driving shift, release the clutch and accelerate and 'one Mississippi' bam it engages. Always felt like I had to relearn how to drive the car because if it. Fast forward 15,000 miles and my second one just died today (9/7), same issues but not as awful, but if you race the car going from 2nd to 3rd quickly (or any gears) the bearing sticks just enough to have the clutch slip; I have a Centerforce twin disc.
