This engine gasket set’s cylinder head and exhaust manifold gaskets are precision-machined from a heavy-duty metal alloy, making them highly resistant to distortion due to heat and pressure. The intake manifold and valve cover gaskets for their part are molded from heat-resistant thermoplastic material designed to resist deterioration due to chemicals and engine bay heat. Lastly, the valve stem seals are machine-formed to precise measurements from high-grade alloy.
Professional Installation Recommended. Installing the various engine gaskets included with this set will require the removal of several components from your engine. This will include the intake and exhaust manifold, and cylinder head which will require a complete set of mechanic’s tools as well as expert level mechanical skills. If you’re not used to this kind of installation, professional installation is recommended.
