      Description

      Understanding The Vehicle Speed Sensor. Your Dodge Charger is equipped with several speed sensors throughout the drivetrain, with one at each wheel and two in the transmission monitoring input and output shaft speeds. This Charger Vehicle Speed Sensor is a wheel-hub-mounted sensor designed to read the speed of each wheel and relay this information to the ECM, which uses it for driver's assist features such as anti-lock brakes and cruise control.

      Replace A Faulty Wheel Speed Sensor. Like all other sensors throughout the drivetrain, your Charger's wheel speed sensors are prone to failure due to physical impacts, such as a blown tire, water contamination, or merely old age. In addition, computer-controlled driver's assist features become inoperable when a wheel speed sensor fails, meaning no more cruise control or anti-lock-brakes. Replace a damaged wheel speed sensor as soon as symptoms present to ensure your Charger's safety and full functionality. 

      Direct-Fit. This aftermarket sensor bolts directly in the housing of the original part for quick installation. Additionally, this sensor features a plug-and-play connector that integrates seamlessly into your Charger's factory wiring harness.
