1. Pop your hood and set the prop rod.
2. Using the 8mm socket remove the fender bolt for the bottom bracket. It is the second bolt from the back. DO NOT REMOVE THE BACK BOLT HOLDING THE HINGE!

3. Install the small bottom bracket. They will be marked with a D- Drivers or P- passenger side, and tighten the fender bolt back down.
4. Use the 10mm wrench to remove the front nut that holds the hing onto the hood. Loosen the rear nut about a ¼ inch (enough to slide the slotted end of the new bracket into)
5. Slide the slotted end of the top (larger) bracket on the loose nut. Position so the top stud lines up with the hole in the bracket, reinstall top nut and tighten both.
6. The struts will have a small pin in each end where they mount on the balls on the brackets. Remove the pins. Pop the strut (piston end) onto the ball on the bracket mounted on the hood and reinstall the pin. Now do the same for the bottom of the strut on the fender bracket. It might be necessary to raise or lower the hood slightly. Don’t forget to reinstall this pin as well.
7. Repeat the previous steps for the opposite side
8. Gently close the hood and check for clearance issues. Correct if necessary.
9. Using the 8mm socket remove the bolt holding the prop rod to the car and remove the prop rod.
