1. Be sure your engine is turned off and cooled down.
2. Carefully clean and dry the original cap.
3. At this point, if your cover came with it, remove the protective sheet off the double-sided adhesive tape on the back of the new chrome cover.
4. Slip the new cover onto your original cap.
5. If the cover is loose, we recommend you put a small piece of masking tape on the outer lip of the original cap, so it will stay secure.
6. To clean simply us a damp cloth, window cleaner or mild chrome polish.
