How to Install a C&L Throttle Body Spacer with Nitrous Ports on Your 2015-2016 EcoBoost Mustang

Step 1:  

Begin with removing the air box. There is a 10mm bolt that holds the air box to the fender. Unclip the intake air temp sensor, and loosen the clamp that holds the intake pipe to the air box.


Step 2:  

To remove the throttle body, unclip the throttle position sensor located on the side of the throttle body. Then remove the (4) 8mm bolts that hold the throttle body to the Intake manifold.


Step 3:  

Install the throttle body spacer with the O-Ring facing forward.  


**Note: 1/8NPT ports, if used will need to face north and south to allow for clearance on the Throttle body and Cylinder Head. If not used, they must be plugged to prevent a boost leak.  


**Note: having the O-Ring on the wrong side will create a boost leak.


Step 4:  

Torque the supplied bolts, and reinstall the remaining parts in reverse order.
