Dave’s Challenger Stage 2 HTR Cams

I installed stage 2 HRT comp cams 273/279. The install wasn’t bad and everything you needed was provided. The cam kit was shipped and arrived fast and on time. I purchased JBA long tube headers, looking for options on mid pipe, before I send it out for tune & dyno. Great product and can’t wait for dyno results.

Cam swap

Ive done them before but I really didn't have the space or time to do it. I had a local speed shop handle it for me. I researched the heck out of it and chose the comp cams stage 2. I wanted to keep drivability. The owner of the speed shop agreed. He also advised not to go supercharger for SCCA, "you'll just spin tires around the track. He was right this Go mango is a beast now. I followed what speed racer advised for an RT. This cam is the final stage. Now I have to put more rubber and wider tires. It's a blast to drive! They also replaced the computer because I broke a tab off during the first reprogram, and reprogrammed it.

Awesome Addition to NA Build

I did take to a performance shop to have them installed, but the tech said they were relatively a breeze to install. I also opted to have the oil pump gear upgraded and had some Kooks long tubes installed and running 93 custom tune. The cams are definitely capable of a lot more power and are ready to come alive as I continue my build. They sound amazing as well, but do need to be adjusted by the tuner if you want more chop.

I can't until I install this on my 5.7l 2020 dodge charger rt daytona and my 2019 dodge charger 392 scatpack

Not a afternoon install newer challenger 392 lots to do.heads need to come off and front clip also need to unlock pcm and tune. Happy now that it is all done

Great all around cam even better tuned, looking at adding in 4.10 gears sooner than later. Jmod on the auto a must the 4r75w solid with external tranny cooler

Put into my scatpack 392 6.4 And sounds amazing I do recommend if you want to increase power and sounds. Chop is not to hard but forsure loud

California Cam

The addition of cams to my Mustang was pretty nice. I currently have a cold air intake, cat back exhaust, throttle body, tune, and 3.73 gears. I wished it had a little more lope to it, the idle isn’t too noticeably different over stock to be honest but I do feel a little more power in the higher RPM range. I daily this set up. Hopefully it passes CA smog.
