Closed Air Box Design. Corsa engineered their Closed Air Box Intake with two objectives in mind, to increase airflow and reduce intake temperatures. Utilizing the stock air ducting located in the grille this Corsa Intake is designed to increase the volume of air entering the engine. This closed air box is also better able to insulate the cooler incoming air from under hood heat soak, effectively reducing the air intake temperatures when compared to open element intakes. Pro 5R Air Filter. The included Pro 5R air filter is engineered to effectively filter out minuscule power robbing particulates while maintaining excellent air flow. Pro 5R air filters feature a polyurethane frame with 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze oiled media to ensure superior filtration and outstanding engine protection. Best of all the Pro 5R air filter is re-usable, just wash, re-oil and re-use.
