If you’re looking for a rotor and pad kit that can handle the daily driving needs of your Mustang, then the EBC Brakes Stage 1 Ultimax Brake Rotor and Pad Kit for the Rear is the way to go. This kit includes rear rotors and pads that conform to OE specs, making installation much easier. Additionally, the pads and rotors feature engineered elements that will help you stop on a dime for safer everyday driving.
Tough Cast Iron Rotors. This kit includes EBC’s premium rotors made from premium G3000 iron alloy using a specialized casting process, offering extreme strength. The raw castings are then precision-machined accurate specifications for ideal balance and an OE grade fit. Rounding out their construction is a specialty Thermic Black coating that provides exceptional corrosion protection and an eye-catching look.
Vented Rotor Design. These OE design rotors also feature internal vents designed to dissipate heat much more, efficiently reducing the likelihood of fade. Moreover, these rotors come with a solid rotor face, offering the pads maximum contact surface. The result is more consistent braking performance.
Ultimax Aramid Fiber Brake Pads. This kit includes superior Ultimax brake pads that are EBC’s range of OE replacement pads. These rear pads are equipped with advanced aramid fiber braking compounds, providing excellent braking performance for everyday driving. This braking compound also comes with a unique surface coating designed to reduce bed-in times. The result is maximum braking performance almost right out of the box.
Reduced Dust and Noise. These Ultimax brake pads’ aramid fiber compound also generates less brake dust when compared to their factory counterparts. This is thanks to greatly reduced metallic compounds in the pads, which are most responsible for dust. What’s more, these pads utilize a backing plate design that does not need shims to produce a quiet ride.
Straightforward Install Procedure. This kit is designed to mount onto your ride’s factory rear brake locations without the need for modifications to your system or the brakes themselves. What’s more, installation is completed using just standard hand tools as well as a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid and high-temperature brake pad lubricant.
Complete Rear Kit. This EBC rear brake rotor and pad kit offers a pair of rear brake rotors, and two rear pairs of the Ultimax aramid fiber brake pads. This kit also has some high-temp lubricant that you will need for installation.
