More Power for More Fun! Making a very respectable 300 Horsepower and 320 lb/ft of Torque straight off the showroom floor, the 4.6L V8 powered GT Mustang is already a blast to drive. But after installing an Edelbrock E-Force Stage 1 Street Supercharger you will have an outstanding 466 Horsepower and 439 ft/lbs of Torque for a lot more fun. Edelbrock's unique Supercharger was designed for maximum low end torque and instant throttle response, with minimum engine stress. Best of all you make all this extra power while only running 91 octane, with little to no decrease in fuel economy.
Unique Supercharger Design. The heart and soul of Edelbrock's E-Force Supercharger is the Eaton Gen VI 2300 (140 cubic inch) TVS Supercharger rotors. The Eaton Gen VI features a unique four lobe design with a full 160° of twist to provide maximum flow, minimum temperature rise, quiet operation, and everyday reliability. The inverted design places the supercharger down low in the valley, allowing for 15" long intake runners to maximize low end torque.
Stay Cool. Edelbrock uses the largest intercooler available. Keeping the incoming air cool is a 110 square inch high capacity air-to-water intercooler and full face low temperature heat exchanger. This setup makes the Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger the coolest running supercharger on the market today for the 2005-2009 GT Mustang.
Breathe Easier. The E-Force Stage 1 Supercharger system breathes easy through a specially designed 85mm electronic throttle body that is matched to the most efficient and unique inlet configuration on the market today for a shorter less restrictive intake path for improved air flow.
Kit Includes. Edelbrock's E-Force Stage 1 Street Supercharger System arrives ready to be installed. The highlights of this kit include Edelbrock's Supercharger Manifold Assembly that features Eaton TVS Rotors, a 3.875" Pulley, a Dual Core Low Temperature Heat Exchanger with 110 Sq-in Intercooler, Goodyear® Gatorback™ Serpentine Belt, an Electric Intercooler Water Pump, Extruded Aluminum Fuel Rails with 41 lb/hr Fuel Injectors and a 85mm Electronic Throttle Body. Please note that
no Tuning Device is include in this kit.
Required Upgrades. Installation of this Edelbrock E-Force Stage 1 Street Supercharger Kit on a 2005-2006 GT will require the use of an Edelbrock Cooling Upgrade kit, part# 15804. Installation on a 2009 GT will require the use of an Edelbrock Hardware Kit, part#15805.
50 State Legal. Unlike the competitors, Edelbrock's E-Force Stage 1 Street Supercharger is 50 state emissions legal under Carb E.O# D-215-77. The Supercharger Kit is
only street legal in 50 states when the correct Edelbrock tune is applied. Please Note, Custom tuning is required for this Supercharger System if not using Edelbrock's tune.
Application. This Edelbrock E-Force Stage 1 Street Supercharger Kit without Tuner is specifically designed for use on the 2005-2009 GT and Bullitt Mustangs equipped with the 3V Modular 4.6L V8 engine. Will clear the strut tower brace found on 2008-2009 Bullitt models.
