Maximum Mustang Stability. The S550 Mustang is known to do a lot of things well and can easily be considered one of the greatest American cars of all time. That's not to say it's imperfect, though. Those stock bushings on your front sway bar might be good enough, but they flex, and that kills performance. Polyurethane is a stiffer alternative that's sure to work wonders when kipping that pony level.

Reliable Performance. Reliability tends to suffer when you chase performance. That's not the case with polyurethane bushings, though. In all reality, it's a far more durable material than rubber. It's not going to break down as rapidly, and you're only concern will be to keep them greased. That said, greasing polyurethane bushings is required far less frequently than you might imagine.

Don’t Kill Your Efforts. You're going through all of that trouble to cash in on the S550's performance potential. Why let rubber bushings hold you back? The minor amount of flex might not seem like that much of a big deal, but it really is. Every millimeter of distortion and millisecond it eats up adds up to slow down your Mustang significantly. The more powerful it becomes and the harder you drive, the greater those issues become. Don't kid yourself. You need polyurethane bushings if you want the meanest Mustang on the block.
