      High-Quality Steel Manufacture. While several other companies use recycled metal to make their gears, this manufacturer is one of the few exceptions. It makes its gears with 8620 steel, which is notable for its toughness and resilience. Don’t expect this pair of items to bend, break, or fall prey to rust. 

      Covered by One-Year/50,000-Mile Limited Warranty. For a period of one year or 50,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the date of purchase, EXCEL from RICHMOND GEAR warrants that these gears will be free from defects in material and workmanship.

      Expert-Level Installation. These ring and pinion gears require an expert level of mechanical skill to install on your Mustang. Expect the process to take approximately six hours.

      Application. The EXCEL from Richmond Ring Gear and Pinion Kit - 4.56 Gears fits all 2005–2010 Ford Mustang V6 models. It is sold as a kit, and it requires a notched cross pin for ring gear clearance.
