It's made to provide a low-drone, low tone muffler sound and a better exhaust gas discharge path for your mean machine.

Flowmaster's Original 40 Series Offset/Offset Oval Muffler utilizes a unique dual-chamber design that reduces vibration while also creating a milder and quiet exhaust sound. Do keep in mind that more chambers mean less noise with more back-pressure, while fewer chambers mean more noise and drone with less back-pressure.

      Welded Stainless Steel. The Flowmaster Original 40 Series Offset/Offset Oval Muffler is made with tough-grade 409 stainless steel that has been computer-welded and hand-checked to ensure airtight construction and proper exhaust airflow. It is also coated in a heat-dissipating matte gray coat finish that further reduces the chance of rust deterioration.
