Exceptional Power. The Ford Performance 347 CI 415HP Sealed Racing Crate Engine produces 415 horsepower and 400 foot-pounds of torque at 6,000 and 4,900 rpm, respectively. Its compression ratio is 10:1, for excellent efficiency. Engine displacement is 347 cubic-inches with a 4.03-inch bore and 3.40-inch stroke. Additionally, this engine uses 2.02-inch intake and 1.60-inch exhaust valves for excellent airflow.
Built Tough for Competition. The Ford Performance 347 CI 415HP Sealed Racing Crate Engine uses the legendary BOSS 302 race engine block as its foundation. This engine uses forged pistons and connecting rods to drive a forged crankshaft. This engine uses a lightweight aluminum cylinder head for excellent weight savings. Lastly, this crate engine comes with a polished aluminum valve cover that features the Ford Racing logo, for a complete race car look under the hood.
Direct Install Procedure. The Ford Performance 347 CI 415HP Sealed Racing Crate Engine is designed as a direct install assembly. Installing this sealed racing crate engine will require expert-level mechanical skills and knowledge, as well as a complete set of mechanics’ tools. As such, a professional installation is highly recommended.
Application. The Ford Performance 347 CI 415HP Sealed Racing Crate Engine fits all Ford Mustang models.
Application Notes. This Ford Performance Sealed Racing Crate Engine is for use in racing situations only and is illegal for use on public roads. This engine does not include a carburetor, throttle body, spark plugs, and wiring harness. This engine requires a zero-balanced flywheel as it is internally balanced.
