Note: Procedure best done in warm environment to avoid fracturing interior trim panels.
Removal
1. NOTICE: The seat cushion tabs must be pressed in to release them from the floor. If the locking tabs are not pressed in, it may result in damage to the tabs.
Located at the front of the seat cushion, press in on the locking tabs to release the seat cushion from the floor.
2. Lift and release the seat cushion. Remove the seat cushion.
Removal
NOTE: LH seat shown, RH seat similar.
1. Release the fastener attaching the seat backrest to the floor.
Remove the backrest.
1. Release the backrest hinge from the pivot hinge.
2. Move the safety belt aside. Rotate the backrest toward the outboard side of the vehicle.
3. Lift the backrest to release it from the floor stud. Remove the backrest and floor stud.

1. Remove the bolt and the safety belt buckle. Also the rear seat cushion mounting bracket.

1. On both sides, remove the load space trim panels.
Removal
NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.
1. Position aside the door weather-strip.
2. Release the clips and remove the scuff plate trim panel.
3. Position aside the safety belt guide, release the clips and remove the load space trim panel.
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

On both sides.
Release the clips, disconnect the tether clip and remove the D-pillar trim panel.
3. Remove the pin-type retainers and the parcel shelf.
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Removal
NOTE: RH shown, LH similar.
1. Remove the retainer and position the safety belt aside. Install supplied M10 bolt to plug hole.
2. Remove the retainers and the safety belt retractor.
1. Reinstall all trim panels including supplied seat belt covers.
2. Install the seat delete panel and mark the two upper holes onto the parcel shelf. Remove the delete panel and drill the two holes into the parcel shelf panel only.
3. Install the two supplied supports. Install the 4 remaining M10 bolts to plug holes, see below.
4. Install the seat delete panel using the supplied two bolts and one pushpin. Torque: 35 lb.ft (47.5 Nm)
