How to Install a GMS Coil on your 2005-2010 Mustang V6

Installation Instructions:
1. Note where each spark plug wire is connected to your coil pack.

2. Remove spark plug wires from coil pack by pressing locking clips and pulling up.

3. Unplug electrical connector from the back of the coil pack by lifting locking clip and pulling.

4. Remove the four bolts holding the coil pack in place with ratchet and 7 mm socket. Make note of pieces being held onto your coil pack with the bolts.
5. Lift old coil pack off bracket.

6. Place new coil pack on bracket.
7. Replace the four bolts to hold the coil pack in place. If there were any pieces being held onto your coil pack with these bolts, make sure they are in place before the bolts.

8. Plug electrical connector into new coil pack.
9. Apply a thin coat of the lubricant that came with coil pack on the rubber boots.
10. Replace spark plug wires in the noted positions.

11. Turn on engine to test.
