Installation instructions:
1. Gather items needed for installation
2. OPTIONAL: Unscrew four screws holding in the fog lights
3. Using Duct tape, tape the fog light bracket to the fog light backing; the plastics are a little flimsy so I opted to try and reinforce them.
4. Re-install the fog lights onto the GT style grille
5. Pop your vehicles hood
6. Prop your hood up correctly
7. Using an 8mm socket, unplug the negative battery terminal
8. Using a flat head screwdriver, pop out the 6 push pins that keep the radiator cover attached
9. Once all 6-push pins are removed, take off the radiator cover
10. Using a 10mm socket, remove the two bolts connecting the bumper to the vehicle
11. Once the bolts are removed, lift the bumper up and over a small stopping pin
12. Remove 3 phillip head pin screws located on the inner splash shield. NOTE: From now until specified, removal shall be done identical to both sides of the vehicle.
13. Unplug the turn signal connector and the headlight bulb
14. Using a 10mm socket, remove to bolts that connect the bumper the frame. They are located directly above the turn signal light
15. Now, all bolts are successfully removed, you can remover the entire front bumper. Be sure to place a towel or blanket on the ground so the bumper is not scratched
16. Using a flat head screwdriver, pry out the tabs keeping the stock grill in place. Be careful not to damage the connecting opening for the new grille
17. Double check all the snap in connections from the new GT Style Grille into the bumper
18. Prepare the bumper for re-installation
19. NOTE: Due to clearance issues you must snip a tiny piece of the fog light housing off and slightly bend the horn bracket for correct fitment. Once done the grill should snug.
20. Once fitment is perfect, re-connect the turn signal lights and headlights
21. Re-install the 10mm bolts connecting the bumper to the frame
22. Push the bumper over the stopping pin and re-install the 10mm bolts connecting the grill portion of the bumper to the body
23. Re-install the 6 push pins on the radiator cover
24. NOTE: If you removed your entire splash shield shimmy it back into place and plug back the original push pins
25. Re-connect your negative battery terminal using an 8mm socket
26. Close your hood and enjoy your new GT Style Pony Delete Grille w/ Fog Lights. NOTE: I did not previously have the pony package nor did I connect the fog lights to make them functional.
ENJOY
