The J&M Clear Outer Coating Stainless Steel Teflon Rear Brake Lines have the flexibility of a rubber hose, while the rigid construction delivers a firmer pedal feel, faster braking response and better brake modulation. Leak resistance means less water in your brake fluid and uncompromised performance. These Brake Lines are designed to operate at high temperatures for a longer life.

      Steel vs. Rubber - Steel Wins. Rubber brake lines can split or fail with extreme track use. This is far from ideal from a safety standpoint. These J&M Clear Outer Coating Stainless Steel Teflon Rear Brake Lines are tough enough for extreme racing applications. Each J&M Brake Line is tested to 3000 psi, demonstrating a leak-free hose assembly. Trivalent zinc plating exceeds Department of Transportation salt test criteria. You benefit from corrosion-resistant brake lines. Every hose is stamped with a DOT registration number.

      Installation. The J&M Clear Outer Coating Stainless Steel Teflon Rear Brake Line are designed to be a direct OEM fit specifically for your 1996-1998 Mustang GT or Cobra. No adapters are required.
