How to Install a JBA 3 inch Axleback Exhaust on your 2011-2014 GT Mustang

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
** Installation recommendation: JBA recommends in most case that the vehicle be taken to a reputable exhaust shop for installation.

2011 Mustang 5.0 GT Axle Back
START:
1. Remove and inventory the JBA Exhaust System.
2. Loosen the clamp connecting the exhaust pipe to the muf er. Wiggle the Muf er loose from the over axle pipe.
3. Using pliers or a pry bar, slide the rubber hanger from the hanger rod at inside, front of muf er (a little lube helps). Slide the muf er assembly forward and remove from slip hangers.
4. Slide the JBA muf er/tip assem- blies hangers into the rubber isola- tors on each side. WD40 or similar will make this easier.
5. With the axle pipes in the muf er assemblies adjust muf ers to be at, and the tips an equal distance from the bumper cover. You may need to use a pry bar and bend the hangar rods slightly. When you are sati ed with the placement, tighten the clamps securely.
6. Using a soft cloth, wipe the new JBA tips clean.
