They incorporate an unrestricted design that helps increase exhaust flow. This results in significant gains in power and torque. Improved Exhaust Sound. These Shorty Headers are designed with 1.75-inch diameter primary tubes to deliver a more efficient exhaust flow. This design enhances exhaust flow, which gives your muscle car a slightly more robust exhaust tone.
Retains OE Catalytic Converters. These Shorty Headers include factory-style emission connections and are compatible with your Camaro’s exhaust parts, including the mid-pipe and catalytic converters. This lets you install them with ease and with complete compliance with emission regulations.
Built for Lasting Durability. The construction of these headers ensures lasting performance. They are manufactured using a 1.75-inch diameter, 16-gauge 409 stainless steel for greater strength. These headers are also mandrel-bent to ensure better exhaust flow and consistent tubing diameter that are crucial for intense performance. Lastly, these headers are equipped with JBL’s patented Firecone to merge collectors, which are designed to ensure extra strength.
