How to Install JLT V3.0 Oil Separator - Passenger Side on your Ford Mustang

Please review complete instructions prior to installing.

1. Verify you have all of the following parts included in the kit: (1) JLT Oil Separator, (1) JLT mounting bracket, (2) fine thread machine screws, (2) 3/8 hoses, (2) quick connections.

2. Gather all of the following tools needed for the installation: Phillips screw driver, 8mm or 5/16 socket/ratchet.

3. Remove stock PCV line.

4. Using the fine thread screws provided attach the JLT mounting bracket to the top of the Separator. Remove the ground bolt and use it to attach the JLT Separator and JLT bracket to the shock tower. IMPORTANT! Ground strap must go on TOP of JLT bracket to still make the ground.

Using the short 3/8 hose, insert the 90° quick connect fitting and to go from the valve cover to the "T" side fitting on the Separator and the long 3/8 hose to go from the front most fitting to the intake tube. Depending on the brand/style cold air intake you have this hose may need to be trimmed for best fit. If you have the stock intake, use the supplied straight quick connect fitting in the longer hose.

To properly clean the filter in the Oil Separator, remove it with a pick or small screw driver and spray any degreaser or solvent through it and let it air dry. Clean it every 5,000 miles.
