1. Verify/inspect you have all the parts mentioned above before proceeding.

2. Disconnect PCV Hose from the stock intake (located right after the throttle body on the left side).

3. Remove the Mass Air Flow connection by inserting a flathead screwdriver into the red clip and pull apart.

4. Remove the bolt that attaches the air filter housing to the body of the vehicle. A 10MM wrench/socket can be used to remove this bolt. Save it, you will need it when you mount the new intake onto the vehicle.

5. Remove the clamp that is holding the stock intake tube on the throttle body with a flathead screwdriver. Pull out the stock intake and filter box and lay aside.

6. Unscrew the 8MM bolt that holds the fan and radiator.

7. Using the supplied 10MM bolt, secure the heat shield to the radiator. The heat shield should go IN BETWEEN the radiator and the fan.

8. Using the stock 10MM bolt that was holding down the stock intake, bolt down the other side of the JLT Heat Shield to the frame. (NOTE: The heat shield will fit snug and you may have to move the radiator hose slightly to set the heat shield in place)

9. Remove the MAF Sensor from the stock intake using a Torx T-20 Driver. Install the MAF Sensor in the JLT MAF housing using the supplied Phillips head screws and MAF gasket. The screws just need to be snug.

10. Install the silicon coupler to the end of the JLT tube and put on both #72 Clamps and tighten just enough they don’t fall off with the bolt heads on the left side facing up.

11. Slide the tube in through the heat shield and install the air filter with the provided clamp. The clamp should be facing outward for easy access. (NOTE: Wipe any oil on the inside rim of the air filter so there is no slip when it is secured to the intake tube)

12. Slide the JLT intake tube onto the throttle body (make sure it is completely on) and tighten both clamps using a flathead screwdriver no more than FINGER TIGHT so you don’t damage the plastic.

13. Plug in the MAF Sensor on the JLT intake and push in red tab to ensure it is connected properly.

14. Install the PCV hose underneath the JLT intake and connect it to the engine. (You can cut the hose to desired length to fit without excess if you like)

15. Make sure to do a double check on all bolts and clamps to make sure they are tightened properly.
