      Description

      Protects Engine By Reducing Engine Sludge. The building up of oil sludge from vapors separating out of crankcase breather and PCV systems is a common problem in all engines, particularly in high-performance applications. In forced-induction engines like your Mustang GT’s Whipple supercharged V8, the higher pressures make this an even bigger concern, as the sludge can get very messy, impede PCV operation and even lead to a reduced performance from diluted gasoline. The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator addresses this problem with a large-capacity 3-ounce billet aluminum, multi-stage filtration oil separator that looks like a factory-fit high-performance upgrade.

      Solid Billet Aluminum. J&L crafts the 3.0 Oil Separator from solid billet aluminum for ultimate strength and performance. A knurled bottom makes it easy to open the canister to empty the sludge at periodic intervals. The multi-stage filtration with a fine-mesh stainless-steel screen and honeycomb aluminum screen ensure vapors are efficiently separated out from the breather hose and only clean air is returned to your engine.

      One-Year J&L Limited Warranty. J&L ships its 3.0 Oil Separator with a one-year limited warranty that provides for repair or replacement if they find any part to be defective in material or workmanship.

      Not CARB Certified. This J&L Oil Separator is not currently CARB certified. It is therefore not legal for use in California or other states that use California emissions rules.

      Application. The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator fits the passenger side of Whipple Supercharged 2015-2023 Mustang GTs.
