These lower control arms’ robust steel construction is significantly stiffer than the factory original. This factor enables them to provide a more solid feel and with less likelihood of body roll. What’s more, the control arms’ red color profile gives them a striking look that works well with your ride’s muscle car style.
Advanced Ball Bushing System. What makes these rear lower control arms unique is their advanced ball bushing system, which features a unique 3-part design. Unlike traditional cylindrical bushings, this design allows the bushing assembly to roll like a ball bearing to give you exceptional traction, especially when cornering.
Robust Build Quality. These rear lower control arms are made from high-quality tubular steel with a diameter of 2 inches, making them extremely robust. Furthermore, these lower control arms are CNC laser cut and pulse welded for added rigidity. Meanwhile, their ball bushings are molded to tight tolerances from specially formulated polyurethane for an exact fit when installed. Finally, these control arm assemblies are finished in a wear-resistant red powder coating, providing outstanding corrosion protection and an eye-catching style.
Trouble-Free Install Procedure. These rear lower control arm assemblies are designed to install in factory locations in your Mustang. No additional drilling or other modifications are necessary. You will however need to assemble, grease, and install the ball bushings before the control arms can be installed. It is also highly recommended that you use PTFE grease when lubricating the ball bushings.
Application. These J&M Street Performance Rear Lower Control Arms in Red fit all 1999 to 2004 Ford Mustang models, excluding Cobras.
