A stiffer set of control arms provide better handling control, which can give your Mustang a competitive edge. These rear lower control arms’ tubular steel construction makes them more rigid, compared to the stamped steel or square tubular factory control arms. The result is a more solid handling feel and improved control.

      On-Vehicle Adjustable. Besides being stiffer, these J&M Street Weight Jack rear lower control arms also offer on-vehicle adjustability. In particular, these control arms feature a spring perch designed to be raised or lowered with a torque wrench. This design permits you to fine-tune your suspension setup for optimal performance.

      Combination Bushing System. These rear lower control arms also feature a combination bushing system composed of the advanced 3-piece ball bushings on the chassis side and spherical bushings on the axle side. These bushings are engineered to work in tandem to increase traction by allowing them to articulate more freely. This factor helps improve traction, especially when cornering.

      Durable Build Quality. These rear lower control arms are CNC laser-cut and formed from high-grade steel tubes before undergoing a specialized pulse welding procedure. These factors work together to give you a set of extremely durable control arms that fit your vehicle like the factory original. Likewise, the ball and spherical bushings are crafted from premium polyurethane and heat-treated chrome-moly steel, respectively. Lastly, these control arm assemblies receive a chip-resistant red powder coat finish, offering a stunning look and optimal corrosion protection.

      User-Friendly Install Procedure. Installing these rear lower control arms is a relatively user-friendly procedure as these utilize factory locations in your vehicle without modifications. Before installation, the included ball bushings will need to be assembled, greased, and mounted into the control arms. Also, it is recommended that you use PTFE grease to lubricate the ball bushings.
