Tools Required:

Installation Instructions
1. Carefully disconnect the mass air flow sensor wiring harness using a flat head screw driver.
2. Disconnect the hose on the existing air intake tube.
3. Using a Flat Head Screwdriver, Loosen the hose clamp connecting the air intake hose to the throttle body. Disconnect the tube from the throttle body.
4. Using a flathead screwdriver, loosen the hose clamp connecting the intake hose the filter box.
5. Using an 8mm wrench, loosen and remove the bolt holding the air box to the engine bay.
6. Pull the Air Box out of the fender well and up out of the engine bay.
7. Unclip the two clips holding the air box together and separate the two pieces.
8. Using a flathead screwdriver, pry the tabs holding the case together open. Separate the two pieces exposing the mass air flow sensor.
9. Push the Wiring harness through the hole and set it aside for later use. (TIP: Try to pinch and twist the seal to get the harness through.)
10. Using a 10mm Wrench, Remove the two bolts holding the mass air flow sensor on the old intake case. Remove the Mass air flow sensor this is going to be re-used in the new Intake.
11. Using a 13mm Wrench Remove the two lower support bolts on the A/C Compressor.
12. Using Four of the longer 6mm Hex bolts and Four 6mm Wave washers, attach the mass air flow sensor to the supplied gasket and Adapter ring. The order should Be as follows: MAFS/Gasket/Heat shield/Gasket/adapter ring
13. Attach the Supplied Bracket to the heat shield with remaining 6mm hex bolts and flat washers.
14. Attach the two large hose clamps to the silicone step hose and put both on the larger end of the intake tube.
15. On 2001-2004 models, Plug the hole in the Intake tube with supplied plug.
16. Screw in supplied plastic vent hose port into intake tube using a 9/16" wrench.
17: Attach intake tube to mass Air flow sensor using a flat head screwdriver to tighten the hose clamps.
18. Attach silicon hose to throttle body with supplied hose clamps. Tighten using a Flathead screwdriver.
19. Lower in the assembled intake and connect the intake hose to the throttle body.
20. Line up the previously attached bracket and the holes on the A/C compressor. Reattach and tighten the bolts that were taken out in step Eleven.
21. Attach the filter element to the adapter ring using the supplied large hose clamp.
22. Reconnect the wiring harness to the Mass airflow sensor and tuck the excess wiring inside of fender.
23. Start up engine and listen for any leaks or problems. Be sure all hose clamps and bolts are tight. Enjoy the added horsepower and aggressive sound.
